Tonight: Moisture starved cold front will swing through tomorrow morning, with some associated light precipitation. No more than .1" of w.e. has been projected on the models, and there isn't much to look at on radar right now. Mid level warming ahead of the front, with weak precipitation rates will mean freezing rain / drizzle with any precipitation that falls. The NWS has expressed the potential for an advisory if confidence should increase for more widespread freezing precipitation. The advisory is about the threshold for a delay tomorrow. Really is a slim chance, but if there is enough precipitation, just a light glaze can make transportation tricky, especially considering the antecedent cold for cold road surface.

Wednesday: No big changes from my previous thoughts. Snow starts up Tuesday Night, with around 2 inches by 7am Wednesday. Starts to mix with sleet, with another 1 to 2 inches of snow and sleet through 10am, before mixing with and changing to freezing rain for some decent ice accretion. This will definitely be warning-level material. I hope to have time to post more information and details later tonight or tomorrow morning.
