Snow continues to fall at a moderate clip, occasionally mixing with sleet. At this point, snow accumulations average about an inch around Keene. Temperatures have held steady around 30 to 33 since noontime, and will probably end up undercutting the NWS forecast highs by four or five degrees. In addition, winds continue to have a northward component in association with slightly stronger high pressure holding in across Maine.

While surface temperatures may be underperforming, the mid levels are warming steadily, and the sleet and freezing rain line is not too far away. 850mb temperatures have reached freezing along the Massachusetts turnpike, and snow is over for locations there and south. Reports of freezing rain continue to come in from northwest Connecticut with some notable ice accretion.

In summary, it looks like precipitation will change over to sleet and freezing rain by 6pm. However, based on the current situation, freezing rain may continue longer into the night (maybe until about midnight) before changing to plain rain.

Regardless, temperatures will still be above freezing tomorrow morning, with any road accumulation long gone, eliminating chances of a delay.
