Radar returns up to 30dBZ will be approaching the area within the next hour. Warm air advection associated with the banding may result in rain mixing in especially at lower elevations. Latest reports around the area indicate that Orange, MA has changed to rain with a temperature at 34. Right now in Keene, temperatures are hovering around freezing. As of 830, 3.5" of snow has fallen in the higher elevations with reports of generally 2 to 3 across the lower Keene. Another 1 to 2 inches can be expected before a mix / change to rain by this afternoon.

---

Another storm system will approach the region from the Ohio Valley on Monday. Temperatures will be a little warmer than today, so any chance for snow or sleet will be confined to the morning hours before a change to rain before noon. Accumulations at this time are expected to be light, however the timing of this storm needs to be watched for the possibility of a prolonged period of wintry precipitation.
