The GFS continues to hold QPF > .5" over the area including SW NH. Taken verbatem, the GFS has been consistent in dumping a 5 to 10 inch snowfall here Thursday Night. Most of thre rest of the model guidence is further south, including the NAM which is a full 300 miles to the south of the GFS. However, the consistency of the GFS should be noted. At this point, will wait for 12z runs to see if the GFS really means business. Right now, Im holding with my 2 to 4 prediction, with max snowfall still in CT near 10 inches. This morning, NWS issued a winter storm watch for all of CT.

- In depth discussion regarding the impending major winter storm this weekend will begin here tonight.
