A large area of moderate to heavy snow (sleet to the south) was entering eastern Vermont at 1454 per NWS radar. Depending on the northward component of motion, we could have a period of moderate to heavy snow and sleet through 6pm, with additional accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. So far 8.3" from the storm. Updated snowfall forecast: 9" - 12".

Another active winter weather week ahead!!! I'll starting discussing it on the main page later tonight. I need some sleep after all this, however, it doesnt look like Christmas vacation will be a vacation for forecasters - again, details coming up on main page.
