Tuesday Night through Thursday could be a very hazardous period for travel of any sort. A high precipitation storm will bring a sleet and freezing rain mix into the region Tuesday Night. There could be a glaze of ice accretion along with a coating of sleet, but nothing more. Wednesday, temperatures will not move much, and sleet and freezing rain will continue throughout the day. We could see 1 to 2 inches of sleet accumulation and a tenth inch of ice accretion. Precipitation will change to all snow late Wednesday Night, during which time we could see 2 to 3 inches of accumulation. A chance of snow is in the forecast through Easter weekend, and we could be talking about Easter 07 being cold and whiter than Christmas 06.

There is potential for a delay or even a cancellation on Wednesday. Thursday has the same potential, although less chance of a cancellation.
