Our first wintry event of the 2007 April (2nd Winter) season, will arrive Tuesday night and last through Wednesday Night. Currently, it appears this storm will bring with it .5 to 1.0 inch of water. Precipitation will start as sleet and snow Tuesday Night, and change to a wintry mix with rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow throughout Wednesday. The rain will end Wednesday evening, and a snow and sleet mix will resume with possibly a 6 hour period from 11pm to 5am (Thu) of all snow. Right now, it looks like we have a good shot at at least two inches of snow, but depending on what percent of the precip is snow, we could get up to 4 or 5 inches. I am confident in at least a delay for SAU29 on Thursday, if this pans out, and possibly a delay or even a cancellation on Wednesday, if everything goes right.

Stay tuned.
