The rain began to mix with sleet around 2030 and mixed with snow around 2055 changing to all snow at 2105. Since then (50 minutes) 0.1" snow has accumulated on grassy surfaces. No accumulation yet on the brick walkway or driveway. The temperature is 31.8F. The radar is showing the western edge approaching Albany, NY. So that area will be out of here before 1am. However, the NW-SE orientation of the storm will bring a second area of precipitation currently in upstate NY into the area. I dont think there will be a break in between the two areas, so count on steady snowfall ending around 3am. Im tempted to tweak the forecast down even a bit more, but will hold at 3" - 4" with some emphasis on the 3". This one isnt our storm.
